The Consular Section assists Namibian citizens in the Bahamas, Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua and United States of America, respectively. We also provide visa services (both non-immigrant and immigrant) to residents of the countries of our accreditation mentioned above.

We work with authorities of the host country to assist Namibian victims of crime, monitor arrests of and visits to incarcerated Namibian citizens to ensure that they are being treated in a manner consistent with local and international law, and locate missing Namibians. We are also responsible for assisting Namibian citizens in our consular district in the event of natural disasters or other large-scale emergencies.
