Ambassador Hellao meets the new U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs

On 16 June 2026, H.E. Ambassador Wilbard Hellao had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Frank W. Garcia Jr., the new Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.

Ambassador Hellao extended his warm congratulations to Assistant Secretary Garcia on his appointment and reaffirmed Namibia’s commitment to deepening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries and peoples.
